  • Food security conditions continue to be stable following the good msimu and masika harvests realized in most parts of the country. Household foods stocks have remained well supplied, reducing prices and dependence on markets and improving access.
  • Although the food security conditions remain stable in most parts of the country, some areas, such as the Dodoma region in the Singida-Dodoma, Sorghum, Bulrush, Millet, Sunflower, and Livestock livelihood zone, will most likely continue to experience moderate food insecurity through December after realizing below-normal msimu harvests. Households in this area will most likely experience difficulty accessing agricultural inputs such as seeds for the coming msimu season.
  • The Ukerewe district in the Victoria Islands Fishing, Cassava, Sweet Potato, and Paddy livelihood zone continues to suffer from the spread of Cassava Brown Streak Disease (CBSD), which has continued to limit cassava production, the main staple food in the area.
