Livelihood Attribute Maps

Livelihood Attribute Mapping involves extracting data from Livelihood zone descriptions and Livelihood Profiles to produce maps that contain key livelihoods information by zone, overlaid with administrative boundaries. Livelihood Attribute Maps provide context to ongoing and emerging food security conditions, inform analysis and monitoring activities, and help answer specific food security questions.

Among other things, the maps helps us better understand household vulnerability to rising food prices and declining terms of trade. FEWS NET has a number of attribute maps currently available.
