Remote Monitoring

The FEWS NET remote monitoring initiative is designed to be flexible and inclusive by adding to the current portfolio of countries. FEWS NET will not open offices in remote monitoring countries. Instead, working through partners in each country, FEWS NET will identify key food security indicators. These indicators will then be monitored regularly for anomalies that may lead to increased food insecurity by FEWS NET satff in nearby country offices, in collaboration with in-country food security partners.
