FEWS NET is seeking applications from qualified and experienced professionals to fill one full-time Security Manager position in Washington, D.C.

The Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing security to more than 20 FEWS NET offices across five regions around the world: Latin America and the Caribbean, East Africa, Southern Africa, West Africa, and the Rest of the World.

The main responsibilities of this role include:
1. Supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of the project's security platform
2. Coordinating with other departments, units, stakeholders, and individuals to ensure that the project and personnel maintain proper safety and security procedures in accordance with client and Chemonics policies
3. Crafting and implementing the security framework for the project

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
- Authorization to work in the United States required
- English fluency required; proficiency in French, Spanish and/or Portuguese is beneficial 
- University degree – BS/BA required; MS/MA preferred; directly related professional experience can substitute for education experience.

FEWS NET is seeking applications from qualified and experienced professionals to fill one full-time Nutrition Advisor position in Washington, D.C.

The Nutrition Advisor will support the improved use of nutrition information and analysis in FEWS NET’s food security analysis and reporting. 

The main responsibilities of this role include:
1. Providing technical guidance on the inclusion and use of health and nutrition information in food security monitoring, assessments, and analysis
2. Overseeing the development and maintenance of a nutrition database and health survey data for FEWS NET presence countries
3. Conducting nutrition causal analysis (NCA) studies to understand the causes of undernutrition in different contexts

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
- Authorization to work in the United States required
- English fluency required; working knowledge of French is preferred
- Master's degree in a discipline directly relevant to the position, preferably in nutrition or public health, required. Significant, directly related professional experience can substitute for education experience.

FEWS NET is seeking applications from qualified and experienced professionals to fill one full-time Food Security Analyst position in Washington, D.C.

The Food Security Analyst will join the Decision Support Group to serve as a regional focal point for food security analysis, decision support, and information requests for one or two geographic regions.

The main responsibilities of this role include:
1. Synthesis of market and trade, nutrition, livelihoods, and other food-security analysis for the development of regular, high-quality early warning information products
2. Responding to ad hoc requests for food security and response planning analysis and other support for response and contingency planning processes
3. Provide technical assistance to strengthen data collection, analysis, and information dissemination capacity among host-country, NGO, and other donor partners and field staff

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
- Authorization to work in the United States required
- English fluency required; French and/or Spanish language skills highly preferred
- Advanced degree in a field related to food security or another relevant area; directly related professional experience can substitute for education experience

The RFSS-LH will work with the East Africa Regional Representative (RR), the rest of the East Africa regional team, the country teams in the region, and partners to design, execute, and coordinate regional activities in livelihoods and household economy analysis (HEA).

The main responsibilities of this role include

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
- Fluency in English is required, local language skills are desirable
